It has potential...since it is new to the OP area I think it needs time to find its niche! I love the drinks, however the pastries are very dry and tastless. I'm sure I will try it again soon and I hope I came on a "bad baked good" day!

Wood fired pizza is amazing! Salads are fresh. Location is easy to get to. Employees are very friendly. My daughter loves the student discount.

Normally I love spot coffee but the staff needs work at this location. After ordering the grilled cheese there today and asking for the salads dressing on the side I discovered a container of mayo on the side upon opening my sandwich at home. The staff also seems excessive in the number of times they shout your name within the first minute if your order being done - not a relaxing experience.

I'm happy to see a coffee shop opening up in the village! There really aren't any other restaurants/cafes that promote a friendly environment to grab a coffee and just hang out with friends and enjoy the day. In terms of coffee and food, it's the same variety and quality that you would expect at any of the other Spot locations. What is lacking from the other Spot's, however, is that quirky/trendy buffalo vibe. The interior isn't as decorated as other locations and while the staff is plenty friendly, they aren't shouting orders and cracking jokes like the barista's on Elmwood's Spot. I tend to come here during the day to study, so it's kind of nice that it is quieter (plus great free wifi and an assortment of seating options) but I do enjoy the other locations as well. The only negative I'll mention is that because it is so close to Orchard Park middle school, after school ends a lot of young kids come to the cafe unsupervised and make a lot of noise and ruckus while waiting for their parents to pick them up. It's pretty disruptive and I'm interested to see how that changes in the summer. Will definitely be back to this location though!

Was happy when Spot came to OP, but don't expect the same downtown experience. The music they play here is so sterile. The lattes are nowhere near as good as the Buffalo locations. I just had a "margarita" pizza - the crust was ok, there was a ridiculous (seriously way too much) amount of cheese (and not fresh mozzarella - clearly), the sauce is obviously wegmans pizza sauce from a jar and the basil was sprinkled on. I labored through one slice and that was it. My last criticism is one I never understand - why the cheapo "house recipe" brand ketchup and mustard. You're acting like a crappy diner with that stuff. Buck up and get Heinz.

the coffee here and mixed drinks are phenomenal but the barista with the blonde hair and glasses has got to go. She's got a horrible attitude and never smiles, I feel like I'm disturbing her by ordering a coffee beverage. I just don't get it.. Can't believe there is even a tip section on the receipt. Here's a tip: smile!

Not the best spot location.... Disappointment. I had a bitter coffee and added soy milk which seemed to curdle or get clumpy in the coffee??? Ew I told the "barista" who basically brushed it off and said that's been happening. Not okay I had to insist that I needed a new coffee and he finally poured me a new one. Won't be coming back.

I just updated to 3 stars, because upon returning today, the servers were very pleasant, and the lattes were excellent.

After going to all of the spot coffees in the area, this Spot Coffee was built for an Orchard Park crowd. From what I'm told this is the first "franchise" that was sold and it has definitely deviated from the original style of all the other spot coffee's in Buffalo. I think Spot has "sold out" from it's original roots. As they say, "Money changes everything." The food and coffee are all the same from the other locations. The inside definitely reminds me of Elm Street Bakery in East Aurora. I think the long staircase is a liability waiting to happen.

Food - Light fare, very nicely prepared. A lot of health conscious choices. Drinks - Excellent coffee and tea choices as expected from Spot. Setting - Wonderful reuse of an older building in the center of the village. It's a relaxing place to sit and read. It definitely contributes to a sense of place at the heart of the Village of Orchard Park.

Nice ambiance and excellent cappuccinos and iced skinny lattes. Happy to see a good coffee shop finally come to the Southtowns! Will definitely hang out here with friends.

Really good food, especially breakfast. Great coffee, the people are friendly, the historical building is beautiful, great WIFI. This place is a great choice for coffee in Orchard Park. Live music on Saturday evenings.

My girlfriend and I went in to get a coffee for myself and a Chi Latte for herself. When my girlfriend received the Chi Latte she took a sip and said it tastes like Pumpkin. I could smell the pumpkin myself from a couple feet away. We went back in to see if they had made a mistake. One girl Behind the counter opened up the drink and smelled it, then not knowing asked the person who made it. He didn't even look up before he said it was a Chi Latte. The girl then put the cap back on the drink and handed it back to my girlfriend saying "i guess that's how our Chi Latte tastes." Absolutely Despicable. Never going back EVER again.

I like supporting local businesses but next time I'm visiting Orchard Park, I'll drive to Panera. The two times I've come to this Spot, I've found the staff to be pretty incompetent. Today, my Mike sandwich came on the wrong bread and was full of turkey (which is not even supposed to be on this sandwich)--problematic since I'm a vegetarian. I find their coffee to be too bitter for my liking. Sorry, Spot. I wanted to love you.
